October Country Inn’s accommodations exude our Woodstock, Vermont bed and breakfast country living lifestyle.
Accommodations at our Woodstock Vermont bed and breakfast feature spacious indoor common areas. For example, the living room is full of overstuffed sofas surrounding the fireplace. Shelves of games, puzzles, books and magazines are nearby. An adjoining game room features a huge round table seating eight. It’s the perfect gathering spot. Or, if you need more space, the adjoining main dining room seats up to 21 between two large tables. Conviently, a common area bathroom is close by. Just outside of the living room, the open front porch invites you to settle into one of several wooden rocking chairs.
Don’t miss the cookie jar.
If you need it, the “little kitchen” hospitality area has a utility counter with sink. This area also has a little refrigerator stocked with complementary sodas. Help yourself. This is also where the cookie jar lives. Take a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie while they last. Hot tea or coco is always available. Just pick your favorite mug from our astounding collection. WiFi is available throughout the inn. Importantly, to insure your safety, the inn is outfitted with an off-site monitored smoke, carbon monoxide, and fire alarm system. Additionally, we have fire sprinkler protection throughout the inn.
Each guestroom is unique.
Half our ten guest rooms are downstairs, the other half upstairs. As you would expect of a Woodstock Vermont bed and breakfast, all our guest rooms are unique. The various guest room configurations meet most lodging needs. Most rooms have original farmhouse wide-plank pine floors. Rooms with wooden floors also have braided, or woven area rugs. There are antique dressers, and tables. All our beds are covered with hand-made quilts or duvet covered down comforters. Many rooms have wing back or overstuffed chairs or wooden rockers as well.
See Guest Rooms for photos and a more detailed description of each room.
